Birthday deets for my peeps :)
Remember how my blog just turned 2 last week? It's time to celebrate!

Well, it's been a while for me, so I am happy to leave the first comment and say I can't believe you have been actively blogging for 2 years already. I remember when you were just starting out. Congratulations. I have been absent from any blogs for a while, but I always enjoy coming back to yours because you are my dear friend and I love to see what you and your family are up to. I love your blog for many reasons.... The passion, the excitement that you have in anything you post. Whether it's about the heat of the sun burning into your retinas or the immense love you have of design or just general family updates. The energy is contagious and addicting. Wow. Your photos are AWESOME. Let's just get that on the table right now... right. now. Also, I love your blog because it is like a little dose of Megan every time you post. I've never actually met you in person (YET) but I feel like I know you so very well. This in turn has helped me to come closer to your family and especially to your sweet son. You and Daniel are always there for me with encouragement and love. I feel that love in every blog post. I guess what I am trying to say is that you've mastered the art of putting yourself on the on the page. Thanks for sharing a little piece of yourself with us so often. Congratulations on your 2 years of blogging! I think I found your blog thru a link on Sara's Art House blog about a year ago. I like your blog because it's colorful and fun and you discuss a lot of topics that I am interested in too. Another reason is because I found out you live in my neighborhood and you talk about places/things going on in our SoCal area. A third reason is because you seem like a genuinely happy, nice, fun, funny person and I'm glad to know you.
Doppelganger... not the evil twin-type, but the nice twin-type that lives somewhere far away... and one day you "meet' them and it's kinda spooky.
That's how I felt when I found your blog.
You are just such an encourager and upbeat person and I love having you pop into my life.

Happy 2nd Birthday to "Wild Child"!
What?!?! I read this when you posted and thought I entered! Thanks for the reminder! I am dying to have your button picture! But I am a flower freak and LOVE them as well! Well I love all of them and would take any one of them too!
I LOVE your blog just because you are YOU and that is fabulous and good enough for me!!! I was soooo excited when I found you online and became reconnected with you after many years. I have such fond memories of babysitting and holding and loving your first new baby son! I have fond memories of listening to you and your dear husband sing like a choir of angels! Memories of doing things as two young couples. Sad memories of John when he was rushed to the hospital in severe pain. (I think it was his appendix or something like that) My last memory of physically being with you was when my husband played the organ at Gordon's funeral and you and your husband sang such a beautiful song. I was so touched by the two of you I could not even look at you. I didn't want to make you mess up. We were both so emotional that day.
Do I need to go on? OK I will! You are so talented and free-spirited and fun and your soul pours out of every inch of your body (don't crack a joke about your size here either Megan). You are Megan the Wild Child and you are irreplaceable my dear!
OK so now I forgot all of your rules! I probably didn't even post what you wanted but oh well. If I try to go back and read them then I will probably lose what I have written so this will have to be it!

Oh my friends...... you touch my heart and my cup runneth over. I could never have imagined receiving such kind, thoughtful words - thank you, thank you.
I have really been struggling this year with such a dramatic drop in readers. I still have a good amount of consistent visitors, but it's only about half as many as I had my first year. It constantly troubles me, wondering what I have (or haven't) done to lose people... I know I need to step up my projects/tutorials again - I have really been lacking in that dept - but that's the only thing I can think of. Like I said before, suggestions are always welcome, so let me know if you have any ideas for me :)
But mostly I just want to say how much I appreciate all of you - whether you've commented or not, but especially you who have taken the time to comment. It really means the *world* to me. I hope you can feel all the love and hugs I am sending out to you :)
